(UTV | COLOMBO) – 38,263 individuals have received the COVID-19 vaccinations yesterday.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 33,017 persons were administered the first dose of the Chinese manufactured Sinopharm vaccine, 17 individuals received the first dose of the Russian Sputnik-V vaccine and 5,229 individuals received the second dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVIShield vaccine.
Accordingly, a total of 297,686 have received both doses of the COVIShield vaccine thus far while 457,840 individuals have been administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine.
