(UTV | COLOMBO) – The quarantine order in respect of movements has been implemented since 11.00 PM on Thursday night (13) and will continue until 4.00 AM on Monday (17), Police Spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana said.
Even after Monday, movement would be restricted until 31 May, with people only permitted to leave their homes based on the last digit of their National Identity Cards (NICs) except for essential services personnel, he added.
