(UTV | COLOMBO) – All shops should be closed from 11 p.m tonight till 4 a.m Monday, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
He said only essential services would be allowed when the island-wide travel restriction was in force.
The Spokesman said that online delivery service for medicine will be allowed to operate.
He said last digit ID system introduced for non-essential movements will be implemented from Monday.
An island-wide travel restriction will be imposed from 11 pm today to 4 am till Monday in order to prevent a further spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
