Nolan, Joy Plan Amazon Horror Series

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy’s Kilter Films label are developing the new psychological horror anthology series “Unknown” for Amazon Studios. Craig Macneill (“Lizzie”) and Clay Chapman (“The Boy”) are presently attached to the project.

The series aims to explore the line between folklore and true crime with the first season to follow two siblings dealing with a spirit that has spent years haunting the infamous area known as the ‘Texas Killing Fields’.

The 25-acre patch of land, found near Interstate Highway 45, was a dumping ground for murder victims with thirty bodies (mostly women) having been found over the years.

The project is separate from the planned series adaptation of the “Fallout” video game series and the Jack Reynor-led sci-fi thriller series “The Peripheral,” both of which Nolan and Joy are attached to at Amazon.
