Rahul hits half-century as Punjab ease to win over Mumbai

(UTV | INDIA) – KL Rahul’s 60 not out from 52 balls helped Punjab Kings to an easy nine-wicket win over reigning Indian Premier League champions Mumbai Indians.

The Kings captain shared an unbeaten 79-run partnership with Chris Gayle, who made 43 not out as they chased down 132 with 2.2 overs to spare in Chennai.

Earlier, Mumbai posted a below-par 131-6, with Rohit Sharma hitting 63.

The five-time winners have now lost three of their five matches in this season’s competition.
