Parliament sittings temporarily suspended due to tense situation

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Parliament sittings were temporarily suspended today (08) due to a tense situation arose due to an argument over the removal of Ranjan Ramanayake’s seat.

The Opposition protested over the removal of Ramanayake from Parliament.

Opposition Parliamentarians wore black arm bands to voice their objection to the decision to remove Ramanayake’s seat.
