Neville Wanniarachchi case postponed till the 8th of February

 

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The evidence hearing of five cases against a former Chief Security Officer of former President MP Mahinda Rajapaksa Neville Wanniarachchi has been postponed till the 8th of February.

The order was issued by Colombo Additional Magistrate Aruni Atigala.

Five cases were filed against Neville Wanniarachchi by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption for failing to declare his assets.

He was charged for failing to declare his assets from the year 2010 to 2014 while holding the post of Major of the Army.
