(UTV | COLOMBO) – Four persons who transported unlicensed explosives in a three-wheeler have been arrested by the Police.
The explosives were being transported in a three-wheeler at the Bakamuna along the Elahera – Naula Road.
The suspects who are residents of Avissawella, were transporting 2.32 kilogrammes of ammonia, 135 grams of water gel, 5.2 grams of gunpowder, 14 detonators, 13 wire rolls and a stone drilling machine at the time of arrest.
