Netflix nabs Steven Moffat’s “Inside Man”

(UTV| COLOMBO) – Netflix has come onboard BBC One’s new thriller series “Inside Man” which hails from former “Doctor Who” showrunner along with “Jekyll” and “Sherlock” creator Steven Moffat.

Stanley Tucci plays the title role while David Tennant, Dolly Wells, and Lydia West co-star in the four-parter in which a prisoner on death row in the US, a Vicar in a quiet English town, and a maths teacher trapped in a cellar crossing paths in the most unexpected way.

Hartswood Films will produce the project with Moffat and Sue Vertue executive producing alongside Ben Irving. Paul McGuigan will direct from scripts by Moffat.

Filming will take place later this year ahead of the series premiering on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK. Netflix takes everywhere outside the UK and Ireland.
