Travel ban on Udaya Gammanpila temporarily lifted

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has temporarily removed the travel ban imposed on United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarian Udaya Gammanpila following a request made by the MP.

The order was issued by Colombo Magistrate KKR Heiyanthuduwa.

Accordingly, MP Gammanpila has been granted permission to travel overseas for a period of four days from the 26th of January.

MP Gammanpila was banned from travelling overseas over charges of using a fake Attorney permit and obtaining 20 million rupees from a company belonging to a foreigner.
