Seth Rogen to play Spielberg’s uncle

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Seth Rogen is reportedly set to play the favorite uncle of young Steven Spielberg in the untitled feature Spielberg is helming about his youth growing up in Arizona.

Michelle Williams is on board to play a role inspired by Spielberg’s mother, though is said to have a separate and original voice.

The project marks the first time since “A.I.” in 2001 that Spielberg will get involved in screenwriting duties, co-writing the script with Tony Kushner. Filming begins this Summer for a 2022 release.

Spielberg, Kushner and Kristie Macosko Krieger are producing.
