Azath Salley arrested by the CID

(UTV | COLOMBO) – On the advice of the Attorney General, the Leader of the National Unity Front (NUF), Azath Salley has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the Sri Lanka Police over the statements he made recently.

Earlier, 5 members of the CID, headed by an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) assigned to inquire into statements made by the former Governor of the Western Province.

The Leader of the National Unity Front (NUF) has recorded a statement at the Cinnamon Gardens Police Station on Saturday (13).
