Prime Minister advises police heads on reforms

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Prime Minister (PM) Ranil Wickremesinghe has advised police heads pertaining to the reforms which should be carried out at Sri Lanka Police.

A meeting was held between Premier Wickremesinghe, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and all Deputy IGPs at the Temple Trees yesterday (13th Friday).

The Prime Minister had advised the police heads to train Policemen according to modern police methods and to create a people friendly police service.
