Security tightened for Premier Khan’s visit today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Security has been tightened for the 2-day visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in Colombo.

On the invitation of his Sri Lankan Counterpart Mahinda Rajapaksa, Premier Khan will undertake a 2-day official visit to Sri Lanka from today (23). This will be his first visit to Sri Lanka after assuming Office.

A special Military guard-of-honour has been organised to welcome the visiting Prime Minister at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake.

During the visit Premier Khan is to hold talks with the President, the Prime Minister, and the Foreign Minister.
