(UTV | COLOMBO) – A decision on the National List Parliament seat of the United National Party (UNP) would be made this month, UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene said.
He said a majority of UNPers want party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe to be sent to Parliament but Mr. Wickremesinghe has refused to accept it.
“If Mr. Wickremesinghe continues to refuse, we will appoint a suitable person this month,” he said.
