Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 recovery rate exceeds 70%

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The number of people who have recuperated from COVID-19 in Sri Lanka has crossed 11,000, improving the national recovery rate to over 70 per cent, the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) stated.

The GMOA’s Dr. Haritha Aluthge yesterday (15) said that over 70 per cent of the COVID-19 positive patients reported thus far in the country have totally recovered and were discharged from hospitals.
