General Election related complaints rise to 5,814

UTV | COLOMBO – The number of complaints filed in relation to the upcoming Parliamentary Election has increased to 5,814.

The Election Commission noted that all complaints are pertaining to flouting of election laws.

Accordingly, the Election Commission stated that 1,068 complaints have been lodged with the National Election Complaints Management Centre, while a total of 4,746 complaints have been lodged with District Election Complaints Management Centres thus far.
