28,323 persons released from quarantine centres

UTV | COLOMBO – Another 174 persons who underwent and successfully completed quarantine measures at Sri Lanka Army run facilities, have been released to return to their homes today.

The largest group, a total of 105 persons, were released from the Norocholai quarantine facility.

The Army stated meanwhile another 29 persons were released from the Passara centre, 14 from the Gannoruwa centre, 11 from the Waikkal quarantine facility, nine from the Boossa centre and six from the Kalpitiya facility.

At present, 28,323 individuals in total have undergone quarantine measures and have been released from special facilities thus far, while another 2,298 inmates continue to undergo quarantine procedure at 37 facilities across the island.
