Bathiudeen requested to appear before CID

UTV | COLOMBO – Former Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen has been requested to appear before the Criminal Investigations Department on the 27th of July, in order to record a statement over investigations into the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks.

Notice was issued by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court for Bathiudeen to appear before Court at 9am next Monday.

The order was issued after the CID informed Court that Rishad Bathiudeen failed to appear before the CID on two separate occasions to record a statement.

Accordingly, notice was issued to Bathiudeen to appear before Court next Monday.
