6,052 persons still remain in 53 quarantine centres

UTV | COLOMBO – The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak says 24,460 persons have completed the mandatory quarantine procedure in the country.

6,052 individuals are currently being held at 53 quarantine facilities maintained by Tri-Forces.

108 individuals who completed the quarantine procedure will be released from the Punanai and Minneriya facilities today.

Meanwhile, 30 persons have returned to the country from Qatar today.

The Operation Centre said all those who returned to the country today will be directed to quarantine facilities maintained by Tri-Forces.
