UTV | COLOMBO -11 new coronavirus cases were reported in the country today increasing infections to 2,715.
The Government Information Department said four individuals, associates of persons who tested positive at the Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre, three persons who arrived from Qatar, two returnees from India and another two returnees from the UAE are among the 11 new infections recorded today.
Meanwhile the number of COVID-19 recoveries rose to 2,035 after 12 persons recovered and were discharged during the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases is presently at 669 while 107 suspected cases are also under observation.
