177 Sri Lankans stranded in Maldives return

UTV | COLOMBO – A special SriLankan Airlines flight carrying 177 Sri Lankans stranded in Maldives due to COVID-19 pandemic, arrived in Sri Lanka this evening.

The SriLankan Airlines flight UL-102 from Maldives arrived at the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA).

The majority of passengers are said to be Sri Lankans employed at tourist hotels in Maldives.

Upon their arrival, PCR tests were conducted on all passengers.
