10 families in Nattandiya sent to self-quarantine

UTV | COLOMBO – At least 45 people of 10 families from Nattandiya, who have maintained links with the woman who was tested positive for COVID-19 today, have been sent to self-quarantine, Puttalam Regional Director of Health Services Dr. Dinusha Fernando said.

She said the health authorities have launched an operation to further identify the contacts of the woman, who is a resident of Nattandiya.

The female counsellor attached to the Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre tested positive for the virus from Marawila yesterday.
