SLPP is inciting racism for the election -Hakeem

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Rauf Hakeem says certain factions of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna are attempting to incite racism during campaigning just as they did during the Presidential Election last year.

Speaking at a media briefing in Kandy Hakeem said inciting racism is an indication of the destitution of politicians.

He added those inciting racism are merely showing their inabilities.

Hakeem said the SLMC condemns such actions while adding that communities must be united and that everyone must work towards uplifting the country.
