(UTV | COLOMBO) – Another trial election is scheduled to be held tomorrow according to health services guidelines.
The National Election Commission stated the trial election will be held in Mattakkuliya and Dematagoda.
The conduct of such mock elections seeks to inform both voters and election officials on the how the conduct of a general election will take place amidst the present health crisis.
Trial elections have been held in 15 districts thus far.
Meanwhile Government Printer Gangani Kalapana Liyanage says ballot papers have been printed for 17 districts at present.
She stated that ballot papers of 10 districts have been handed over to the Election Commission.
