Opposition doesn’t have a plan to rebuild SL’

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Former State Minister Janaka Wakkumbura has questioned how Opposition factions that are unable to resolve internal conflicts within parties will be able to solve issues in the country.

Speaking to media in Embilipitiya the former State Minister said the Opposition does not have a plan to rebuild the country.

He claimed there are conflicts between the United National Party and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.

Wakkumbura said the resignation of former Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera proved that the country lacks a good Opposition.

The former State Minister claimed the two factions have conflicts in order to secure power within the party, and questioned how those who are unable to safeguard those in the Nomination List will be able to secure power in Parliament.
