45 arrive from India to work on ships

(UTV | COLOMBO) – 45 persons who arrived in the country from Bangalore, India have been directed to ships anchored at the Colombo Harbour.

The group landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport this afternoon onboard a special flight.

They were subjected to PCR tests at the BIA.

Meanwhile, 291 Sri Lankans who were stranded in the Maldives were also repatriated today.
