(UTV | COLOMBO) – Three persons have test positive for COVID-19 in Sri Lanka, today.
Accordingly, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has increased to 1,883.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said at present, 620 COVID patients are receiving medical treatment at 11 hospitals across the country.
Meanwhile, 56 persons who contracted the novel coronavirus were discharged from hospitals after making a full recovery.
Accordingly, the number of persons who have recovered after testing positive for COVID-19 has increased to 1,252.
63 persons who are suspected to have contracted the virus are also under observation.
