(UTV | COLOMBO) – Minister of Education Dullas Alahapperuma says children must be encouraged equally to pursue education and sports.
Speaking during an event at the Education Ministry premises, Minister Alahapperuma said it is the duty of the parents to provide an balanced education to their children.
The Minister said he was grateful for all those who encouraged children to pursue both studies and sports equally instead of directing them solely towards harsh competition centered on exams.
