All COVID-19 cases reported yesterday are returnees from foreign countries: Dr. Jasinghe

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The all twenty-one COVID-19 patients reported yesterday were Sri Lankan returnees from foreign countries, Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said.

He said 16 out of them were returnees from Kuwait, two from Qatar, two from London and another one from Bangladesh.

The total number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 1835 as of yesterday.
