(UTV | COLOMBO) – The island-wide curfew, which was imposed at 10pm on June 03, was lifted at 4am this morning (06).
As per the updated curfew announcement issued by the Government on Friday (05), curfew will be re-imposed at 11pm tonight for all 25 districts.
Accordingly, from tonight on wards, the entire country will be under curfew between 11pm and 4am, until further notice.
In the meantime, travel between districts has been allowed except in Colombo and Gampaha districts.
The Government has called for strict adherence to the health guidelines at private and public entities and during civilian life in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
