Thondaman’s remains placed at his residence

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The body of late Ceylon Workers Congress leader Arumugam Thondaman has been brought to his residence in Ramboda, Kotmale.

The late veteran politician’s remains were flown from Colombo to the Gampola Sports Ground, via an Air Force Helicopter this morning. Arumugam Thodaman would have celebrated his 56th birthday tomorrow.

Thondaman’s remains will remain at his residence in Ramboda both today and tomorrow, following which his body will then be transported to the Ceylon Workers Congress headquarters in Kotagala, via the city of Nuwara-Eliya, for the public to pay their last respects to the late political leader.

It has been decided to conduct the late Ministers final rites on Sunday the 31st of May at the Thondaman Sports Ground in Norwood.
