(UTV | COLOMBO) – SriLankan Airlines says the flight that arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport this afternoon, was carrying Chinese nationals and not Sri Lankan citizens.
The group left for Beijing, China at 2:15pm.
Furthermore, 176 Indian nationals, who were stranded in Sri Lanka due to coronavirus travel restrictions, have left the island.
The group left for Mumbai, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata via a special Air India flight.
Meanwhile, 700 Indian nationals are due to leave for Tuticorin, India via ship on Monday, the 1st of June.
