Restaurants & hotels in Colombo to reopen

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Hotels and restaurants in Colombo which have been approved and registered under the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority will be allowed to operate from today.

Chief Medical Officer of Colombo Dr. Ruwan Wijayamuni said the relevant sectors will be granted permission to resume services in the Colombo city from today while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Dr. Ruwan Wijayamuni noted six groups will be deployed to look into whether the relevant institutions are abiding by stipulated health and safety practices.
