273 Sri Lankans in Bangladesh repatriated

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A special SriLankan Airlines flight was commissioned, to repatriate 273 Sri Lankans who were stranded overseas due to travel restrictions owing to the coronavirus, departed the island this morning for Bangladesh.

SriLankan Airlines flight UL-1422 left the Bandaranaike International Airport bound for the capital Dhaka.

The flight is expected to return to the Bandaranaike International Airport at 7.45 this evening.
