(UTV | COLOMBO) – Two more individuals have tested positive for the coronavirus.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health recorded 1,057 positive COVID-19 cases in the country thus far.
The number of COVID-19 recoveries in Sri Lanka rose to 620 today after 16 patients were discharged after fully recovering during the past 24 hours.
13 Navy personnel who contracted the coronavirus also recovered and were discharged.
Among the 1,057 coronavirus positive cases in the country are 596 Navy personnel and 36 persons who they associated.
Another 428 coronavirus positive cases continue to receive in-house treatment.
110 persons continue to remain under observation on suspicions of having contracted COVID-19.
