(UTV | TRINCOMALEE) – Two suspects with crystal methamphetamine (ICE) drug were apprehended by Sri Lanka Navy during a joint operation conducted with the Police in Kinniya area.
During an anti-drug operation was carried out by Naval Personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command in coordination with the Kinniya Police, 2 suspicious persons travelling on a motorbike were observed and by searching them 2 grams and 500 milligrams of ICE packed in 15 packets were found in their possession.
Accordingly, 2 persons with the amount of ICE and motorbike were apprehended.
The suspects are residents of the same area, aged 27 and 31. Further investigation on the suspects, amount of ICE, and motorbike are conducted by Kinniya Police.
