61 COVID-19 patients recover jumping tally to 321

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Sixty-one patients who had been receiving treatment for COVID-19 have recovered from the virus, stated the Ministry of health.

They have been discharged from the hospital today (10) upon complete recovery.

The new recoveries jump the tally of the total to 321, states the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry.

Sri Lanka has reported 847 coronavirus cases in total, so far.

Currently, 517 active cases are under medical care at hospitals across the island.

Nine fatalities are recorded from the virus in the country.
