(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Immigration and Emigration Controller General has taken a decision to extend the validity period of all types of visas of foreigners who are currently in Sri Lanka taking into consideration the spread of the Coronavirus in the country.
The media release issued by the Immigration and Emigration Controller General cited that the visa will be extended for another 30 days period from 12th May until 11th June this year.
If however the foreign individual wishes to leave the country during this period their journey will be facilitated by paying the relevant fees at the airport without any penalty. For inquiries they are requested to call 0771588724.
