Quarantine process continues as usual – NOCPCO

(UTV | COVID-19) – A total of 125 individuals were flown to Sri Lanka on Friday (30) from Kolkata in India by the Sri Lankan Airlines Flight UL-1188 and they were sent to the Minneriya, Pelwehera and Punanni Quarantine Centres (QC), the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated yesterday (01).

Meanwhile, 139 personnel who completed Quarantine process at Tri-forces managed Galkanda (91), Katukeliyawa (3), Dolphin Hotel (4), Nipuna Boossa (6) and Damminna (35) QCs more than 21 days were sent back to their homes after PCR tests with quarantine certificates during 30 April and 01 May, the statement added.

A total of 4805 quarantined individuals have left those QCs, manned by tri services as of today (1). 4585 individuals in 37 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine, it concluded.
