The Lotus Tower will be lit up for one hour from 7pm today, to honour and pay tribute to the services rendered by medical workers, defence force personnel and police officers who have been working tirelessly to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus in Sri Lanka.
The Management of the Lotus Tower said at 7pm, the Lotus Tower will be dressed in red and illuminating the darkness, to salute to the medical workers and other heroes fighting the COVID-19 in the country.
It added the measure was initiated to extend well wishes to all those who are celebrating the Sinhala and Tamil New Year as well.
