45 more persons released from quarantine

45 persons have been released from the quarantine centre established at the Army Camp in Pampaimadu, Vavuniya, after having completed the mandatory quarantine procedures.

The group which had arrived from Italy had successfully been quarantined for a period of 14-days upon their arrival in the island.

Several children are among the group.

The group had been directed to their residences, and consists of residents from Colombo, Kurunegala, Puttalam, Nattandiya, Polonnaruwa and Nittambuwa.
