CSE to close until lifting of curfew

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has announced it will remain closed for trading from tomorrow (01).

The CSE said trading will be halted until the islandwide Police curfew imposed due to the coronavirus outbreak in Sri Lanka is lifted.

The Colombo Stock Exchange earlier declared 23, 24 and 30 March as market holidays.

The CSE said the decision has been taken in view of the extension and temporary relaxing of the islandwide curfew currently in effect.
