Supermarket robbed during curfew

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A sword-carrying individual has robbed an outlet of a popular supermarket chain located in Kurana, Negombo during the curfew last night (24).

According to the pictures and video circulating on social media sites, the individual carrying a sword breaking down the glass panel, entering into the supermarket outlet and then collecting goods before leaving.

The lone intruder had made away with milk powder worth Rs. 10 000, it is reported. Police are carrying out investigations into the incident.
