(UTV|COLOMBO) – The correct decisions will be taken at the correct time, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Leader Sajith Premadasa said yesterday in response to a suggestion by former MP Kumara Welgama who called for a joint opposition alliance.
He said this when he was asked whether the SJB was ready to work with Mr Welgama and form a joint opposition alliance.
Mr Premadasa said the SJB coordinating office at Ethul Kotte will be opened on Monday. “This will be a place where all SJB allies will meet and work together,” he said.
When asked whether he and the alliance would not use the UNP headquarters, Mr. Premadasa said election work would be conducted from Sirikotha as well. “Election work will be done at Sirikotha as well,” he said.
