Wildlife Trade Union calls off strike action

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Wildlife Trade Union Collective says the strike action launched recently was temporarily called off.

Chairman of the All Island Joint Wildlife Officers Association Prabhash Karunathileke speaking to a prominent online news portal said the decision was reached after taking into consideration the response by the Secretary to the Ministry of Wildlife recently.

Karunathileke noted that the Secretary vowed to provide solutions to their demands by the 15th of March.
