JHU pledges allegiance to Sajith Premadasa

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Jathika Hela Urumaya today officially pledged allegiance to the Samagi Jana Balawegaya led by Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa.

Speaking at a media briefing at the Parliamentary complex MP Premadasa said several more parties and organisations will join hands with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.

The Opposition Leader said in order to uplift the public and the country, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, which is a broad alliance that also includes the UNP and other progressive forces they will commence a modern era of transition in the country, following victory at the General Election.

He added MP Patali Champika Ranawaka today officially joined the alliance as a main shareholder of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.

MP Premadasa said during the next few days all progressive forces will join the Samagi Jana Balawegaya and everyone will rally together to fulfil the people-friendly and humane, progressive transition.
