ata collection on Northern residents begins

(UTV|COLOMBO) – An initiative to collect data on residents of the Northern Province has commenced.

The initiative is being carried out by the Office of the Deputy High Commissioner of India, situated in Jaffna.

Our correspondent said data collection is being carried out with regard to aid granted by India to Northern provincial residents.

The programme aims to gather data on families of persons who left the Northern Province and currently reside in India as well.
