Pujith Jayasundara before Presidential Commission

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara, who has been sent on compulsory leave, was brought before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry investigating the Easter Sunday attacks.

Jayasundara, who is currently in remand custody over the attacks, was escorted by prison officers to the commission to record a statement today (25).

Jayasundara was arrested last September for failing to prevent the terror attacks on Easter Sunday.
