Ranjan to make statement in Parliament today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – UNP MP Ranjan Ramanayake who is currently in the centre of a controversy over the recorded conversations he has had with various persons over the phone is expected to make a statement in Parliament today.

Mr Ramanayake has told to a prominent online news portal in the isle, that he will make a statement at an appropriate time especially with regard to the allegation that have been made by state Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage. Mr Aluthgamage alleged that Mr. Ramanayake had been plotting to kill him.

Mr Ramanayake alleged that some of the phone conversations that have been leaked to the social media have been doctored. (DM)
